We know many of our guests come to Montana backcountry for outdoor adventure! Bring your ATV (we do not have ATVs for rent at the Resort) and explore two nearby backcountry trail systems along the wild Gravelly Range. Both trail systems originate near Elk Lake Resort and offer the perfect setting for a daylong ride or a shorter jaunt to fill your morning or afternoon.
We will help you determine the best Montana ATV experience for you. Just let us know what you're interested in and we will point you in the right direction for your ATV fun, and when you're finished head on back for a satisfying dinner!
The Continental Divide Trail takes you deep into the backcountry along the ridge, which divides Montana and Idaho.
The Brimstone Trail offers a variety of terrain and landscape options, beautiful views of the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge and the Centennial Valley.
