Lunch - Elk Lake Resort Style

Elk Lake Resort specializes in food made from scratch. Our burgers and chicken sandwiches are grilled while you wait. Our fries are hot and crispy. Enjoy a dining experience in southwestern Montana you will not soon forget.

You can get a hot lunch at our southwest Montana Lodge from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Our hot lunch menu features a variety of delicious sandwiches. Your lunch comes with a hearty serving of our special "Sour Cream and Chive" fries or a bag of chips. Or, if you prefer, you can substitute a crisp green salad or, when available, our homemade soup. Our soups, which are available when the weather is cool (or cold!), are made from scratch in our kitchen. Our salads are crisp and fresh and served with a 'standard' favorite or one of our special 'house' dressings. Our rolls are freshly baked. Our sandwiches are prepared while you wait - and are served fresh and hot off the grill.

Our lunch menu includes:

• Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich: This incredible sandwich features a six ounce chicken breast marinated in our special teriyaki sauce and grilled to perfect. We serve this delicious sandwich on a toasted sesame seed bun and topped with two slices of Swiss Cheese and your choice of tomato, onion, lettuce, and pickle. Add a hearty helping of Sour Cream and Chive Fries, a bag of chips, a side salad, or (when available) a cup of soup, and you've got a meal to remember.
• Hidden Lake Burger: Named in honor of beautiful Hidden Lake, this burger features a 1/3 pound Angus burger, grilled to perfection and topped with a slice of Jack Cheese and a slice of Cheddar. We serve this tasty burger on a toasted sesame seed bun and paired with your choice of tomato, onion, lettuce, and pickle. Add a hearty helping of Sour Cream and Chive Fries, a bag of chips, a side salad, or (when available) a cup of soup and you've got a 'burger and fries' to satisfy your appetite.
• Elk Lake Burger: Our signature sandwich, the Elk Lake Burger, features two 1/3 pound Angus burgers, grilled to perfection and topped with a slice of Jack Cheese, a slice of Cheddar Cheese, and two thick slices of bacon. Add tomato, onion, lettuce, pickle and your choice of condiments to the toasted sesame seed bun and you've got the makings of a major lunch. Of course this sandwich also comes with a hearty helping of Sour Cream and Chive Fries, a bag of chips, a side salad, or (when available) a cup of soup.
• Grilled Chicken Salad: Ever had one of those salads they claim will make a meal? A salad with a handful of lettuce, a few slices of cheese, and a few slivers of what tastes like canned ham? Well, this isn't it!! Our delicious Grilled Chicken Salad starts with a large serving of fresh lettuce. To this we add carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, and a sliced egg. Then we top it all with a generous helping of sliced Swiss Cheese, REAL bacon chunks, and a generous helping of our homemade croutons. The crowning glory - 6 ounces of grilled Teriyaki Chicken Breast, hot off the grill. And, to make your meal complete, we add a serving of our freshly baked bread and a generous helping of your favorite dressing.

With advance notice we are happy to pack a sack lunch for our more adventurous guests. Special country gourmet picnic baskets can also be arranged with advance notice.
