You wantHenry's Lake Idaho an unpressured private fishing grounds abounding in fish, not people. At the same time, you wouldn't mind a day here and there dipping your line into 'world-famous' fly-fishing waters. We've got you covered. From your base at our Montana Fishing Lodge, you can fish 'world-famous' waters or those not-so-well known but every bit as rewarding.

Best of all, you can fly-fish at your own pace following your own trails. Or you can take advantage of our Experience Montana Package and enjoy the best of both worlds - private fly-fishing on our local lakes and streams and custom designed guided fly-fishing excursions on some more well-known fly-fishing waters. Whatever your choice, you'll find abundant quality fly-fishing opportunities.

We are pleased to offer five different full-day guided fishing opportunites. You can chose to pursue your fishing adventures on your own or take advantage of these guided opportunities.

One each guided excursion you will enjoy the attention of one guide for every two fishermen. Your guide will be there to assist you and assure you experience the greatest degree of success. Our guides are well-versed in the water's nuances. You will benefit from their fishing skills and their attention to the small details which will ensure you the BEST possible fishing experience.

Madison River, Montana: You will spend a day drifting the river with your guide pursuing the Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, and Cut-Bow Trout which find refuge in these world-famous waters.

Henry's Fork of the Snake, Idaho: A day spent floating and fishing the Henry's Fork is an angler's dream. This fine river holds some beautiful and often illusive trout. Highly regarded as one of the finest trout streams in the country, you won't forget your time on this river. Idaho licenses are required for fishing Henry's Lake. These run $11.50 per day, per person.

Beaverhead River, Montana: Considered to be one of the prime fishing rivers in Montana, this river is home to some fine Brown Trout. Also considered a world-class trout stream, the Beaverhead has a reputation for producing an abundace of fine fish.

Henry's Lake, Idaho: The Cutthroat Trout in this world renowned lake average three to five pounds. However, the Rainbow-Cutthroat hybrids reach 12 pounds and more. In addition, the Brook trout range up to 3 pounds. Idaho fishing licenses are required. These run $11.50 per day, per person.

Yellowstone National Park: No fly-fishing trip in the tri-state area is complete without at least a day spent in the Park. We offer guided walk and wade trips on the fishable waters of your choice. Or, take advantage of your guide's experience and knowledge to find the 'best' fishing opportunities for the season. Park fishing licenses are required. A week's license is $20 per person. A three day license is $15 per person.

Please keep in mind, for any guided fly-fishing trips, you can expect to pay $20 to $25 per day, per person for the flies used while fishing. Your guide will hand-pick flies for the best potential fly-fishing success. However, you will only pay for the flies you use. Gratuities, as always, are not included in our rates.
